Hosted by Heather Kleitgen, BSN, RN, CDCES, Latham Medical Group continues its educational video series for people with diabetes and their caregivers. Episode 20 features Ian Brady, MHC-LP from CCP’s Integrated Behavioral Health, discussing how diabetes can affect one’s sexual health.

Ian Brady is a Mental Health Counselor and Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) on our Integrated Behavioral Health team. BHCs at Community Care Physicians are licensed mental health providers and social workers. Many are embedded within our practices, working side by side with your doctor and healthcare team in delivering you the best “whole person” healthcare possible. Ian has experience working with people across the lifespan both individually and in family sessions. He has worked within the integrated health model to treat substance use/abuse, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, PTSD, stress management, low self-esteem, communication issues, chronic pain, identity confusion and exploration, attachment disorders, and work-related issues like stress and career exploration. Ian also brings experience in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and gender-questioning populations. His work with CCP’s Integrated Behavioral Health thus far has allowed him to help a wide variety of patients ranging in age, religion, gender identity, and sexual identity.
