Dr. Kristine Campagna is a family medicine provider at Latham Medical Group of Community Care Physicians, located at Wellness Way in Latham. Dr. Campagna has also worked at Capital Region Orthopedics for 7 years and has recently chosen to relocate her sports medicine services to her practice at Latham Medical Group.
Sports medicine is a field of medicine that deals with injuries that are experienced during athletic endeavors and illnesses, emerging out of various types of sporting performances. Sports medicine offers a unique benefit for patients that don’t need surgery and would like help with activity related injury or musculoskeletal strains and sprains.
Dr. Campagna is available for sports medicine appointments Friday mornings for any patient both inside and outside of the Community Care Physicians’ network. Sports medicine with Dr. Campagna is a specialty service. This means that patients stay with their regular primary care physician while receiving care for their specific needs in sports medicine with Dr. Campagna.
About Dr. Campagna
Kristine Campagna, DO is board certified in Family Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Campagna went on to complete her osteopathic rotating internship and her residency training in Family Practice at Albany Medical Center, followed by a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Ohio State University.

- Dr. Campagna does not see patients for worker’s compensation or no-fault, and she does not provide fracture care or casting.
After being seen by Dr. Campagna, if it decided that you need surgery or to see another specialist such as podiatrist, physical therapist or orthopedic surgeon, she can then refer patients to those specialists for further care.
