Community Care Physicians (CCP) is relocating its Latham location from the Capital Region Health Park (711-713 Troy-Schenectady Road) to the new state-of-the-art, 260,000-square-foot, multispecialty medical arts building at Wellness Way, also in Latham (only 2-miles away).
We are so excited to also move Latham Medical Group to CCP’s brand new health park, located off Route 9 at 4-6 Wellness Way in Latham. Once completed, this will be the largest private medical care facility in the Capital Region!
This move will only benefit our patients at Latham Medical Group. The new facility will allow for additional services, greater access for our patients, and growth for CCP as a whole. The health park is visible from the Northway and easily accessible by car and public transportation. So be sure to take a peek at the progress as you drive by!
“CCP’s founding philosophy has always been to reduce the hassle factor for our patients and to provide a quality and satisfying experience for the patient and the provider,” said CCP Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Dr. Shirish Parikh. “Wellness Way will be a model example of providing a seamless healthcare delivery system to maintain a strong and meaningful patient-physician relationship.”
This new location remains convenient for our patients and our staff – which is our top priority, especially at Latham Medical Group! Our patients will have a number of specialists available in the same building as their PCP, including OB/GYN, lab, urgent care, medical imaging, radiation oncology, urology, interventional radiology, vascular surgery, thyroid health, back and pain management, general surgery and endoscopy care, physical therapy, audiology, podiatry, and dermatology.
Furthermore, CCP plans to add rheumatology, developmental pediatrics, a dedicated space for behavioral health, an enlarged AAAASF procedure space to enable more surgical specialties, and an expanded cancer care program with medical and radiation oncology treatment combined in the new building.
What’s great about Wellness Way is it is located in the same area you already know, with the same staff you’ve been talking to and seeing since you became a patient at Latham Medical Group. It’s familiar and comfortable. Also, another plus for our patients, there will be on-site cafés, more green space, electric car charging stations, heated sidewalks at the main entrance, and several access points for patient drop-off.
The project, developed by Columbia Development, has a target completion in 2024. The facility is being built by BBL Medical Facilities and designed by HCP Architects.
